33 Circus Lane Mews

Like children, generally you love them all, but individually they have unique qualities. Circus Lane Mews is full of unique and very special qualities it is a job we never tire of revisiting.

This technically, extremely difficult job, connects a ground floor flat into what was a vaulted cellar below to create a two bedroom apartment. The vault was cut to form the stair access and steel was inserted to replace the 'missing' section of the brick vault. Very precise and precarious work and reference to earlier news items can explain the process more fully.

The completed apartment is a testament to the skill of the architects and the sense of volume and light into what many would have seen as an impossible space to realise is stunning.
