Pembroke Bed
This bed has been designed, built and finished by Inscape Joinery in our workshops in Dalkeith.
The construction is principally in beech veneered mdf but the upper rim around the perimeter of the bed and the surface of the combined side tables are made of black 'nero' granite.
Lighting built into the headboard illuminates the stone face of the gable wall behind.
The bed incorporates two seperate electrically folding mattresses. The pillow section and the knee section can both elevate independantly.
The side tables are part of the construction of the bed as a whole and a useful feature of them are two shelves connected to the inside of the cupboard doors which allow additional temporary shelf space alongside the bed when the pillow section is raised.
