Inscape Joinery was invited to travel with Richard Murphy Architects to Verona as a guest of Richard's office
Steve Evans and other guests, Laura Norris and Isi Metztein accompanied 24 members of the RMA staff on a fascinating and memorable trip to Verona and Venice.
We saw many architectural gems from the days of ancient Rome to the timely intervention of much more recent practitioners (Scarpa in the forefront of these) and it became increasingly clear that Scarpa had evidently visited Edinburgh and had been influenced by the work of RMA !!
The trip was a fascinating insight for ourselves and will be of great benefit to our understanding and interpretation of RMA's design perspective in the future to say nothing of seeing where we went wrong in the past.
