The Saltire Society
Scotland's principal cultural body, The Saltire Society named our project, designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects at Sciennes Gardens in Edinburgh, as the joint recipient of its Housing Awards for 2002.
This was the first time the society has awarded its prize for an extension to an existing property.
The main house was also extensively renovated within the contract.
The Saltire society was established to preserve all that is best in Scottish tradition and to encourage every new development which can strengthen and enrich the country's cultural life. We are very pleased to have been considered to have engendered this process.
