Moncreif Terrace
Before and after photographs are often dramatic but the two images above demonstrate an almost magical change.
This is the same space. A single brick wall seperated the WC from the lounge and the thickness of this wall was borrowed. A bookcase in the lounge disguised this trickery and also concealed the WC cistern.
This tiny little flat in Moncrief Terrace, Edinburgh, completed back in 1992 and comprising only two rooms and the WC is a masterful example of the architects art. The rest of the flat was similarly transformed.
