On the 17th July Inscape began work on a new project at Findhorn Place in Edinburgh. The project has been designed by Oliver Chapman Architects and will be on site for 20 weeks.

The garden room extension will use a combination of glass, stone and risbon jointed blue brickwork to form the exterior walls. Whilst a stainless steel roof combining a tricky gutter detail and a rooflight will complete the external structure.

Internally a tiled floor and plastered walls and ceiling are the simple chosen finishes for what is otherwise a quite complex structure. Two bespoke joinery units, a corner seat below the windows and a central unit tying the new extension into the existing kitchen, and both spray finished, complete the interior.
