We find ourselves in the heart of one of the worst and longest recessions of modern times.
Inscape, as all, are affected by what the politicians like to to call the down-turn in our economy, have found new work hard fought. But we continue to thrive in spite and have even managed some modest expansion.
In line with our belief in training we have taken on two new apprentices in the past year. We have employed two new joiners and more ambitiously we have employed a skilled stonemason to front our building arm.
2012 begins with three new projects all starting on site as well as the completion of works in Murrayfield and Dirleton.
Perhaps most exciting of all we have the prospect of building for Richard Murphy of Richard Murphy Architects, his own house in Hart Street, Edinburgh (pictured above) which will undoubtedly be a masterpiece of design once completed.
So we look forward in relative optimism to the New Year and wish you all the very best in your own endeavours.

Happy birthday Steve! :)
