Inscape have been appointed main contractors to the charitable organisation ' The Autism Initiatives Group' The contract is to create a new gallery with basement workshops in no. 34 Northumberland Street.
The gallery is likely to be the only ‘outsider’ art specific gallery in Scotland. The gallery will sell work by anyone who has a disability or has suffered from some sort of disadvantage in their life. In addition to showcasing ‘outsider’ artwork, up to a quarter of the employees at the gallery will have Autism Spectrum Condition.
We are extremely pleased to have been selected for the project from a total of 6 tenderers and look forward to the opening in March.
