Inscape have negotiated a new contract with William Tunnell Architects of South Queensferry. Our clients are the Knox family, previous clients from No. 10a Circus Lane, where we built a controversial new house for them on a gap site in the same lane.
The new project is a very imaginative development of an existing ground floor and basement space (previously a Silversmiths' workshop). The basement itself complete with brick barrel vaulted ceiling has only ever been used in the past for storage and it was probably originally constructed as an engineering device to achieve building levels.
Work on site has already begun and completion is set for the end of September 2009.
