The work on site is now well into the building phase.
The initial slapping in the external wall of the building required a total of 22 acro props to hold everything up while the wall was taken down to allow the insertion of a new foundation and steel columns along with an internal timber lintol spanning through the rear of the property and supporting upper stud walls and the floor joists.
The timber lintol was replaced with a new steel lintol performing much the same function as the timber one it replaced but this time anchored to the new steel supports in the rear wall.
The new drainage is in place and the slab has been poured. All the internal demolitions are also complete so the job now moves into the putting everything back phase.
