Maurits Cornelis Escher 1898 - 1972

A Dutch born artist who once studied architecture but chose art over it and specialised in depicting impossible realities, a man who tried to introduce mathematics to art and probably did.

Sometimes it feels like we are trying to build some of his creations, proportions conflict and construction seems impossible when we are given some of our architects plans and revelations.

But who are we to complain when half the time we don't even have to compete.
