Following the awards ceremony in Glasgow last month at the Lighthouse Gallery where two of our completed projects at Circus Lane and Regent Terrace Mews were Commended in the Saltire Societies Annual Architectural Awards, Inscape took its own workforce on a visit to see these projects. At the same ceremony Inscape also received the Good Building Award from the Chartered Institute of Builders in Scotland for outstanding workmanship at Circus Lane.
The trip began with lunch and refreshments at Pembroke Place, an earlier RIBA award wining project where we recently designed and installed a thoroughly modern and superbly well detailed Bathroom. A short walk round the corner followed, to visit the very nearly completed Extension at West Stanhope Place where a new Kitchen, Dining Area and Office are in the final stages of construction. This project, with a detailed brief from its Clients was also designed by Inscape Joinery.
Then from West Stanhope Place we were taken by Mini Bus to Regent Terrace Mews and to Circus Lane where we were able to spend time and see these projects in their lived in and furnished states.
As builders we sometimes spend many months working on these jobs and never see the finished article. So we extend our thanks to the clients of these Projects for their trust and permission in allowing the whole gang of us to wander about freely in their homes.
Our sincere thanks also go to the sub contractors who worked on the contract and whose work was also exemplified by the award.
