Inscape Joinery "Half the world sleeps while the other half dreams."

In Steve's earlier days, I was the "retained" stonemason. I first met Steve by word of mouth via the architectural grapevine (thanks to John Hope for the introduction and, now, a long friendship).
The first project I worked with Steve, was Gilmour Road, alongside Brian and Donald. As it was late October 94, I was already sporting my winter plummage (a full beard and a woolly tammy). As the winter was long and cold, both stayed in place.
By January we had moved on to Tantallon Road.
By March/April, I was laying slabs to finish the hard landscaping. As the weather had picked up a bit, and the work was hard, half the winter garb came off. The tammy left the dome. At which point Donald showed his shock to find out that I was bald!! It was only then we realised that in six months he had presumed I had a full head of hair to match the beard and that he had never seen me with my soft top down.
After a further 11 jobs with Steve, some with my partner Gus, I had to retire from the trade, but I had never worked with a better bunch of guys (oh, and Gail!!)
Love the website, more photos of me and Gus please.
